Colonia Aktiv is a young tourism company based right in the heart of Cologne’s bustling Eigelstein district.
Founded by owner Peter Unkelbach in 2014, it started small with Colonia Aktiv and 50 bikes.
But things have changed since then – today, not only has the bike fleet grown to over 100 city bikes, trekking bikes, e-bikes and tandems, but so has the team: Colonia Aktiv consists of five permanent staff members who welcome you at the shop in Eigelstein, and a large pool of local tour guides who will guide you expertly and safely through Cologne’s streets in English, German and Dutch, and whose job is to ensure you have an unforgettable day.
