What you can expect on our “E-Bike Tour Cologne Riviera“
Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, you will be on your way south on this exclusive e-bike tour. We cycle in small groups with a maximum of 12 people on the well-developed bike paths always along the Rhine. The focus of the approx. 30 km long, but relaxed tour is the cycling itself.
“La kölsche Vita” on e-bikes
The route takes you from the Eigelstein directly to the Rhine promenade, first to the Hohenzollern Bridge, to the fish market and further towards the Rheinau harbor. We cycle in the shadow of the famous crane houses and make our way to Rodenkirchen. Here Cologne presents itself from a completely different side: large villas and apartment buildings, lush nature, and the Rhine beaches right on the doorstep. Rodenkirchen, away from the city center, has already been home to one or two famous personalities!
Ferry ride across the Rhine!
After we have accomplished half of the tour, you will be rewarded with a ferry ride across the Rhine and can refresh yourself in the picturesque former fishing village of Zündorf with a cool Kölsch beer, ice cream, coffee or a small snack. The Groov Terrace, Cologne’s so-called “leisure island” on a former arm of the Rhine, invites us to linger.
On Cologne’s right bank of the Rhine, the Schäl Sick, we return to the city center. Passing the Westhovener Aue and the Poller Wiesen, the infamous “wrong side of the Rhine” offers again and again great views of the Cologne skyline, the old town and the imposing Cologne Cathedral. Keep your cameras ready!

Although cycling is the focus of this e-bike tour, you will learn a lot about the green surroundings of Cologne and hear exciting anecdotes and fascinating historical facts about the Rhine and the cathedral city.
Especially on warmer days this tour is very interesting, because it leads out of the heat of the city along the “fresh air corridor”. This tour is therefore a nice alternative if you have already visited the sights of the city center and want to refresh yourself with a cool breeze on our e-bikes.
